Snow has commenved here in NENJ finally!!
Light dusting already on roads.went rom flurries to this quickly.
Missed 4 hours of snow dur to Virga, I'll take what I get and my day off from school and enjoy it.
Funny NWS write up had me as 2-5" for snow and sleet but their maps had 4-6".

Very cold at 920mb (-6/-7). That cold air gets brought down in heavier bands. As time goes on you may notice sleet when it's light, snow when it's heavy

Interesting. Sleet mixing in with snow at times but dropped another degree to 27*. If surface temps keep doing this I’ll be in sleet and frz rain for awhile.

After a few hours of viagara, errr, I mean VIRGA, snow now moderate.Trouble though CP, sleet already knocking on our door in Port Jervis and in Hackettstown.Will be lucky to get that low end 3 inches NWS posted if that.
