21.2/19.5 Moderate snow
I'm hearing part of Lower Bucks County PA approaching 5". I'm probably close to 1", bur rates are improving.

Re: Thursday's Mothrazilla, Part II: First Forecast
Snowing heavily here, close to 2 inches. I think getting a half foot is easily in the cards and wouldn't be shocked to see places hit a foot.
May have to do a quick update on the final show map, Frank. Thoughts?

Good to hear Seadoo! Still sleeting myself. So far sorely disappointed of course, but we’ll see what happens.

Re: Thursday's Mothrazilla, Part II: First Forecast
Moderate to heavy snow now. About 2" OTG. Small sized dendrites. Wind picking up too.
21.4/20.6
In terms of the sleet based on the 700 mb isotherms bending I suspect it stays mostly south of I-78 today.

I actually think I am going to leave it as is. One obvious change I would make is drag the 3-6 line down more. But I don't think CNJ/SNJ area stay all snow and will see it changeover to sleet/mix by 1pm. Most places across NNJ/PA/NYC will land in the high end of my range.

Areas in and around Philly towards Southern Bucks/Montgomery Counties are already passing 1/2' of snow. Those areas in Southern Bucks may obtain close to 1' IMO.

The snow has become heavy and easily 1"/hr now. There are numerous 35 dbz bands popping up.
