28 degrees, clear, calm. NWS barking about likely snow Tuesday.Looks very cold finally after that passes.Maybe we can get a one week snowpack area wide WOOHOO!!!

Tomorrow's storm system will lead to colder temperatures this weekend into next week as a pattern change settles in.

JAN 15th to 20th temp departures from normal:



JAN 17th to 22nd temp departures from normal



No coincidence that there will be a couple of snowstorm threats in this time frame.

Cool, that will def prompt a snow squall warning, hope it happens. I see that pesky green in there though...

Wow crazy little storm coming thru right now we dropped 11* in the last half hour..winds over 20 mph gust over 25 mph now from the north..so the cold front is arriving ..

Yes! 11:30 here. It rained sideways winds were blowing at 40 mph. All happened in 15 mins. It was 50. Dropped 7 degrees in a hurry.

Consistent gusts of 36-38 mph with steady winds of 22 mph. Temp right now is 32.

Looks like we may be in store for some quick moving snow squalls. Snow squall warnings already issued this morning in PA.

28 degrees, partly cloudy, slight breeze.40% chance of snow showers which will be fun.Sometimes a quick inch can result with blizzard conditions for 15 minutes.

At 1110 AM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
extending from Milford to Elverson, moving east at 70 mph.

HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts
greater than 35 mph.

SOURCE...Radar and webcams.

IMPACT...Dangerous and life-threatening travel conditions are
expected to develop rapidly in the warning area.

This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 296 and 317.
Northeast Extension between mile markers 26 and 52.
Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 59 and 76.
Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 13.
Interstate 176 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 1 and 8.

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Lansdale,
Forks, East Norriton, Coatesville, Emmaus, Quakertown, Perkasie,
Doylestown, Byram, Wilson, Downingtown, Souderton, Bedminster,
Hellertown, and Birdsboro.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Consider avoiding or delaying travel until the snow squall passes
your location. If you must travel, use extra caution and allow extra
time. Rapid changes in visibility and slick road conditions may lead
to accidents.

Serious injuries and deaths may result from people exiting their
vehicles during a snow squall. Drivers may not be able to see you or
stop! If you have been involved in an accident or pulled to the side
of the roadway, quickly exit your vehicle and move as far away from
the roadway as possible ONLY when it is safe to do so. Do not stand
along or near the roadway, since approaching vehicles may be unable
to maintain control.

Wind advisory till 6 up to 50mph. Howling def verifying. Snow squalls. Thats like 4 wind headlines in a week.

Snow squall blowing through now, winds started howling about 15 minutes before the snow. Pretty to look at!

Light snow not sticking. The city is going crazy putting salt down on the roads.

Squall coming thru now went from 42* and breezy 24nw to 34* and gusts up to 27

Gusts here are high at 46 mph and a steady 26 mph. 33 here now. Mom, I have the exact same shingles on my garage and house. Same color. Architectural. The metal fence must be good for keeping alligators out.

I had a snow squall here.  It was fun to look at, and it stuck to part of the grass.  But now the sun is out at 34°F and it’s almost all gone.

Yep. Same in Wayne. Good for about 30 minutes. Fun. Still windy and partly sunny now. 2:44 pm

Had two snow squall warnings go off on my phone but nothing but a few stray flurries.
26 degrees, partly cloudy, windy.

I got my fix of wind today and some sideways squalls (not heavy) to brighten my mood a bit.
