Currently in West Orange,NJ. Flakes have gotten significantly bigger in past 5 minutes or so. Falling fast, all different directions.

Re: Archived: 2/13/14 Godzilla Storm
I left my house in West Islip at 6:30 barely an inch on the ground, drove to Ronkonkama and on my way home, the snow was coming down so hard I could not see the car in front of me, when I got back home at 7:45, there was 4 inches on the ground.

This is going to be a tough plow storm down here. Snow to ice back to snow to rain and back to snow tonight. Good luck getting the roads clear.

The for sale sign will come down if that happens, otherwise I'm outta here. Happy for everyone else but this winter other than the last storm I feel like the kid on valentines day that gets no cards during class.

Doc:
I'm starting to think that snow barrier was erected again. I thought they removed that before the last storm.
Light snow and not a happy camper right now. 16 degrees what a waste of cold air.
Don't feel bad Cp I'm in the same boat right now.

Flakes are smaller in size but volume is still intense, wind gusts increasing in frequency, no sign of changeover.

With people reporting rain and sleet south and east of us, this storm will be a perfect HV storm.
Thinking my GF in Monroe will get 18 inches.Glad she is working at home and not having to drive today.
