We will get back end snow. I believe we will see 3+ out of it. Really depends where the heaviest convection focuses on.skinsfan1177 wrote:crazy day for me here it was rain at 3am then got up for work at 430 and it was snowing like crazy roads horrible about 4 inches then it finally changed over to rain by 8 ish. Re: Archived: 2/13/14 Godzilla Storm
Here we go guys, part 2. How close to the coast does this upper level low get? You can see it spinning around near Virginia. Also notice by the Great Lakes another area of precip. That is the kicker that will push the Virginia upper level low more out to sea. So best banding may setup right over NYC

Right now it's modeled to be a bit further west. ECM/RAP/RUC, haven't seen HRRR.

Upton looks bullish, the backend has potential but it's a very difficult forecast.

Re: Archived: 2/13/14 Godzilla Storm
Frank is NWS accurate, that meaning I could get 9-15 more inches tonight? They just expanded me to 18-24 and I got about 9 this morning. Thats Nuts! I as you know am basically just a few miles outside city so I likely will be in that banding too. Man I hope I can get to work tomorrow.
