In 1975, my entire Fraternity from Fairleigh Dickinson went in a school bus (one of the brothers worked part time driving one) with a 1/2 keg of beer on tap in the back, to the City to see the original SNL Cast, Murray, Belushi, Akroyd, Curtain, Radner, perform in a live Caberet called the National Lampoon Show.I was sitting at a table five feet from Belushi doing his stick.This was just before SNL went on the air.

Today, we'd be arrested s__tfaced drunk in a school bus driving around.

I lost cable and internet at 9 and missed all but the last half hour. I really wanted to see Jane Curtain. Doc, that is really special and a great memory. I am officially jealous. I was a senior in HS and we ordered pizza and grinders, then sat around laughing our butts off......the original cast will always be my fav.

Everything is good. They have a filet of flounder rollatini which is great.Steaks are great, had a Black Angus Saturday with homemade mashed potatoes and veggies.Steak served sizzling on a metal plate, one of the best I have had.House Merlot is what we order ,its great.We must have gone there 50 times in the last 12 years, my 60th Birthday Party was there and my buddies were all pleased.Dessert, chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream scoop is a killer!

Ever been to Rao's 131st Harlem Manhattan? Had a connection in the late 80's-early 90's where I could walk right in.There were 6 month waits.Sat right next to Robert De Niro and Naomi Cambell one night.They gave you a table and you sat there all night.Frankie Rao was on the Soprano's as the Chief FBI agent trying to pinch Tony.Great food, great memories, was there at least 10 times.

Nicky ,the bartender, made the best Martini I have ever had.

This heat wave of 37 degrees predicted here on Sunday has me thinking about LBI down the Jersey Shore.Anybody here in the late 80's and 90's ever go to the Crane's Surf City Hotel to see the zany and crazy act of Paul Presto and Jackie Vee known as "Presto and Vee"?
It was a hilarious interactive event with them passing the microphone to patrons at the bar to sing, people like "Manahawkin Annie", a classic old lady with a great voice.They also ran a ski trip which I went on.
