Seems like GFS/HRRR/RAP was right, around 5" here and light/mod snow but close to dry west side I dont think it will last much longer.

Wow, I got buried here, cars stuck/abandoned all over the place. I've never seen a snowstorm like this before. Everything will be shut down here for the rest of the week.

Just kidding, lol, looks like I got around 2 inches. Just a normal day here.

You are probably measuring a drift.  I am in Brick, at the border with Point Pleasant, and have measured just under 4 inches average.
Yes, there are drifts up to 6-8 inches, but that doesn't count into snowfall totals.
Right now, snowing moderately temp. 24.
I have a area were i measure every storm....gets little if any wind....Its about 7.1 inches....Add the 2.7 from yesterday. And there you have it...9.7 storm total.

Now I agree, 9.7 is not one foot.
Thanks for clarifying.

I shoveled off the area flat a hour ago so once it stops snowing finally i may have to add a few tenths of a inch. Might end up near 9.8/9.9 or so.

Moderate snow with some good wind gusts in Somerville from what I can observe. Getting one last good shot before the dry air to the west takes over and this thing moves out.

Fellas I want to thank all of you for a wild ride!! I know some of you think you failed...but guess what if we could all control mother nature we would be zillionaires....I for one think that my son's smile and exhilaration at knowing we beat Grandma in snow totals...a snow day from school...my husband working from home(instead of trudging to the city) and me reading my KF looking at the view I posted are PRICELESS....I am a little disappointed just a tiny bit that we will not be snowed in for days because as of tonight..the Belgium Chocolate I chose, the HoHo's my husband chose, and the Potato Chips my son chose all have to go in the trash!! Obersvations: it is currently 23 degrees(my therm) winds at 15mph (forcast.io)and about 8 inches(NWS)still snowing(my eyes)...I hope you all have a wonderful day..catch up on some sleep....I can't wait for the next one!!

Moderate to heavy snow still in western Nassau County. Over a foot for sure, perhaps 14 inches, big drift exactly by my side door between me and my shovels. Nobody outside here. Sure wish someone would pass by with a snowblower, they could just about name their price and I'd pay with a smile...i

I am really rethinking my disappointment that we didn't get 2 feet of snow. Shoveling out from the 8" that we did get so far was not fun.

Measured 15". I guess I'll take it. I can't believe I am disappointed with 15" but when you anticipate twice that...
Still a few light to mod bands out there.
