You almost certainly are, especially with that band that has been over us for the past hour or so.

Re: January 23, 2016 Roidzilla Observations
Three awards I'd like to hand out:
First, for the NAM. Much maligned, often denigrated and mocked, it was right on the money for this storm and at least two days out.
Second, for Frank. Despite his distrust and hatred of the NAM, he showed why we all trust his analysis and guidance because he put that distrust aside and two days ago said that the NAM just might be onto something and that he thought it was the model handling this system best.
And Third, sroc. Over two months ago, in November over a few drinks in NYC he predicted our first Godzilla snowstorm would strike the area starting on Jan. 22. Can't do better than an accurate 68 day forecast.

Didn't really startup here until 8AM it pretty much stopped for an hour when the pivot started at 2:00 and now since 3:15 it's been gang busters again.
11.0 inches here as of five minutes ago and 0 inches 20 miles north of me.
Unbelievable cutoff all day long. I feel for all my HV friends north of that line I've been there and it sucks when it happens to you. Anything more for me is gravy at this point.

Central Park at 19.5 inches as of 4:45.
Unbelievable, if this band can hold up 27.0 inches and the all time record is not out of reach.
Nice job Conservancy I guarantee idiot zookeeper would be at 12.0 right now. Good riddance my long time nemesis.

Re: January 23, 2016 Roidzilla Observations
This is the latest HRRR valid 9pm and it still shows this band sitting over I-95, albeit weaker. By 10pm almost everyone besides immediate coast and LI is finished with the snow.

If they are getting measurements from Upton, the data is a few hours old...just checked it a little while ago and the last reports they had were from noon-2:00

Unofficial obviously, but pretty accurate, imo. Open, but wind shielded. 20.5 in west orange.
