*Roidzilla 2017* - Final Call Snow Map / Observations

Snowing really hard with huge flakes.  Cant stop looking out the window.  Don't want to miss any of this in case it turns back to sleet or rain!

PROS ON HERE LOOK AT THE IVT SIGNATURE DEVELOPING AT 925 ACROSS EPA!!!!! I EXPECT TO START SEEING RADAR RETURNS EXPLODING THERE SHORTLY IF THATS A TRUE SIGNSL

It's really coming down  (and sideways!!!) now in Clinton Township (Hunterdon)!!!!  Not sure if I've ever seen snowflakes this big before!

heaviest sleet here I have ever seen....big flakes slowly starting to mix back in....trying so hard to change back to snow.....at this rate i will have inches of sleet

Getting very heavy snow now(mixed with a little sleet)...those waffle size flakes..but I hate those b/c it usually mean change to rain is imminent

The flakes are huge and the snow rates have to be 3 + in per hr here

AND THAT IVT SIGNATURE IS MANIFESTED AT 850 TOO DEAR LORD

Rb, do you think in our area will get 24-30 inches that Frank predicted for our area ?

Coming down good in Hopewell had about 9 at 7 o'clock when is this coming to an end?

Snow starting to mix in with my sleet.

Well, considering we are already knee deep here right now, it's starting to creep into my mind that it may be becoming a possibility ahahaha I HOPE SO!!!

I know you mentioned this happening in NEPA. Will this translate to a heavier snow event in NWNJ as well? Bc it really really seems to be picking up here. I'm just unfamiliar with the nature of an IVT signature and what it means but you seem excited so I'm excited!

22 degrees and close to blizzard conditions here in Hopatcong at this time.

OK, Mother Nature is just putting on a show today. Since I wrote the above, we then had about 15 minutes of the fattest snowflakes I had ever seen but no accumulation, followed by the super fine snow, and now it's hailing.

I give up. I'll just sit back and enjoy the ride for the rest of the day.

Whoa. Back to snow in midtown. Very heavy and large flakes.

Same here! The flakes are some of the biggest I have ever seen and snow is falling at a fast rate.

Yes! I'm 63 yo and had neer seen flakes this size before. Weird!
