Re: *Roidzilla 2017* - Final Call Snow Map / Observations
Is it safe to assume that WHATEVER falls here in NWNJ or NEPA for the duration of this event will fall as snow and not sleet? Because at this point i'm willing to take my 16 inches and run, its blowing all over the place so hard to really get an accurate reading but still snowing. Just hoping it doesn't change back to sleet.

Yes, SNOW, after an hour of very light snow, turned heavy again.Radar shows this is the last hurrah but I saw some back filling down Washington-Delaware way.
Thanks Doc. Snowing here light to moderate.

Man, you got that right. For us older guys, take your time. It's miserable out and trying to shovel this slop is akin to weightlifting. It's a real widowmaker.
ha ha don't I know it..husband out of commission for shoveling this season..I went out ahead of my son...slipped and slid under the car...lol....had to yell for him to hurry and get me..it is very heavy and slippery snow..but thank goodness it stopped for most of the time we were out there

Ok then I guess there is a silver lining to us only getting 4 inches here with 2 inches washed away!

Ended up with 7.5 inches. Nearly broke my back shoveling which seemed like bags of sugar from all that sleet. What an epic bust!

18.5 inches and it started coming down heavy again in the last twenty minutes.
Hope this has some good back fill to it.

Gotta push myself for round 3 because this slopfest will turn to cement tonight with a predicted low of 18. At least it's moveable now.
