Bit of a lull here. Heavier bands to the west. Waiting on them. If I’m stuck with sleet the rest of the day, I at least want heavy sleet.

The snow is coming down steady in Stillwater NJ at 1190 feet altitude. Was 23 degrees this morning now 20 so definitely dropping . Approaching almost 2 full inches of snow depending on where you measure. The snow consists of tiny fine snowflakes . They are easily dispatched with a broom so far. The wind also is kicking up . It is now hard enough to make a whoosh through the spruce tree.

All sleet/zr here in Binghamton. Let's see how icy it gets. Temp 26

Now switched over to sleet and rain at 1190 feet altitude in Stillwater NJ, still at 21 degrees . I love winter weather, whatever it throws at us !

28* and holding here. I haven’t even contemplated the idea that there could be freezing rain mixed in with my sleet but I guess it could be. Ground is coated with snow and sleet so a glaze wouldn’t be apparent. I’m not stepping out to check right now.

Snowed brief;y before changing to a sleet fest, at least I did get the day off.

Heavy sleet again. With the ice on top of the compacted snow and sleet, my street essentially looks like a hockey rink.

Snow stopped, looks like it's changing over to sleet now.There was a little burst of bigger flakes just before.Maybe a generous 2 inches of snow IF.

I'm near the breaking point with this winter. When you can't get snow under 20 degrees it may be a sign to throw in the towel.

Oh well, so much for late afternoon or evening. raining. Just watched a guy in a pickup truck smack parked cars while he went up our hill like a maniac, its a 4x4 pickup its a little snow, you do not need to floor it up a small incline, at least 2 cars he dragged his back bumper along side of car.  It did not even phase him.

Well its not accurate cuz its raining here, not freezing rain, [plain rain maybe a tiny bit of sleet.
