It is certainly a trying time we live in Doc. My 6 and 7 year old are old enough now, esp my 7 yr old...kid is sharp as a tack, to ask questions about this kind of stuff. My wife and I do our best to shield them from this sort of violence, yet at the same time actually talk to them about it. Not an easy task, esp when they now do lock down drills on top of fire drills at school.

The news is depressing these days. Twitter is showing pics of the devices which kinda look like bombs to me, Domestic terrorism. Scary world.

Just a different form of terror, Frank.In 1959 at age 9 I remember being in a basement of an old secondary school in Fort Lee NJ ducking down with my coat over my head as air raid sirens were wailing in a "duck and cover" drill for a Russian nuclear attack preparation.I think those experiences screwed up our minds in the "Baby Boom"generation.Every era has its terror.My 95 yo old Mom remembers the Sunday dinner at her Moms on Dec 7 1941 when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and the terror people felt at being at war with Japan and Germany.In the words of that old Hymn..."We shall overcome...!" We did then....we will do so NOW!!!

Good luck Frank. My daughter who is a junior at Felician waits til the last minute to work on her papers too. She has one due tomorrow and hasn't started it yet. She seems to work better under pressure, always does well in her classes.

Ok, whose had to get their wisdom teeth removed? I have one coming in and it's killing me. Looks like I waited too long. I'll probably see a doctor soon. Curious to hear other people's experiences.

Get them taken out by an oral surgeon, you don't need them anyway. We have a family oral surgeon who really did an awesome job, hardly any pain. But it depends if they are impacted or not.

LOL, I was a Dentist 25 years and saw many people suffering from wisdom teeth.Find a good Oral Surgeon, ask family or friends, and get it taken care of.It will not get better Frank.Had my uppers out in 1972, real easy they were in.The lowers were removed in 1979 ,impacted, and were more difficult but if you have a good surgeon, it should go smooth, even if they are impacted.

I usually get ahead on all my papers, but one time I had a 20 page paper due finals week(this past spring). Whenever i write I usually take 3 steps...
1)Lock your phone away
2)Block all web pages you like to go to to take a break
3)Type, and don't stop until its done
And then everything gets done super efficiently.

Mugsy hit the nail on the head.I know I'm always bringing up the old days, but back in the 50's, there was not this materialistic culture that we have today,people di not have the money they do today, and families were closer and THAT was the true meaning of Thanksgiving and Christmas.....being with the family.My Grandparents lived downstairs in our house.For crying out loud, a buddy told me the other day Home Depot is putting out Christmas items already!!! Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeesh!!!!!
