Comparing 03z Fri 18z GFS and 12z EURO, it's amazing how much more the EURO has heights raised ahead of it even though it's the GFS that shows a more impressive trough. Also, the ridge on the GFS is slightly pulled back west while EURO is east

Hour 75 the H5 low moved NE. EURO shows this going east or southeast.

This is nowhere near the EURO. The euro has this H5 low over South Carolina. GFS has it over Kentucky! Hahaha

Northern areas may see less QPF this run because the confluence looked stronger compared to 12z. We'll see.
