just woke up to winds really kicking in..hard to tell how much snow with blowing we have at least 6 inches though...will try to get a better sampling after gets light out

The way this is coming together and the way the bands look on radar to keep pounding long island....i think someone here on the island ends up with 24-30"

At work it really insane came in at 2 had 6-8 inches at that time now we have at least 14 inches or more. The inlet water is over the walls. We have many streets under water.

Started snowing at 11:00 p.m. here on the Nassau/Suffolk border of Long Island. By 4:30 a.m. I had 1" and was getting real nervous. Now 3 hours later I'm approaching 6" (hard to measure with winds gusting 35mph+) Snowing very heavily right now under this band that keeps back building. 2"= per hour. Looking at the radar it should keep snowing here at a minimum of 1" per hour through mid-afternoon. If this keeps up I will have over a foot by 2 or 3 p.m. easy. Great storm

If we get some more crazy bands like Frank is talking about this afternoon, and if it snows till late tonight well then.....................I don't even want to speculate.

Greenpoint, Brooklyn: Not too bad yet, 25.5* and maybe four inches; difficult to tell as I'm right on the East River and snow's blowing all over the place.

Belford NJ, just went and measured 3 different spots that and I had 6, 8, and 10 inches. Those were the areas least subject to wind in my yard. I'm going with an average of 8 inches so far
