Hard to really figure with the blowing snow, but mugsy and I are averaging 1.5"/ hour rates the last few hours.. measured 12.5", but prob a little more. Trying to measure every hour to kind of get a feel, wind is howling here!

16" here in northwestern Hunterdon County, just south of Route 78 in Union Township. Very low visibility and coming down hard.

Re: January 23, 2016 Roidzilla Observations
I'm almost afraid to say this, but we never got the wind they predicted. Yes, we have a steady 15 mph with gusts to 17-ish, but certainly NOT the 40, 50, 60mph they said was going to happen with this storm. Be thankful for small miracles, right?

Out my second floor apartment window. That lot and roadway were plowed within maybe the last 45 minutes. Blacktop visible in spots on the roadway.
Can't get images to work in mobile. :/

Re: January 23, 2016 Roidzilla Observations
The surface low is beginning to transfer to a secondary low southeast of the BM. We're likely done with any northern progression and bands will gradually begin pivoting SW to NE and slide east. Some of these bands could halt over a specific area for an extended period of time.
The 500mb low is over the Delmarva and will gradually begin lifting east-northeast. If PVA wraps into the coast that could enhance snowfall rates later this afternoon into the evening for those along the coast.
We're beginning to see +dendritic growth sneak into NE NJ.

Central Park came in with 14.7 inches a little while ago. That moves Jonas into number 20 all time destined obviously to go much higher.
