Skins, I agree we will be making the run for 30+!!! I measured a while ago and we were at 19.75, but it has been dumping snow since.
Almost forgot, a smaller plow got stuck on my street. He abandoned the subdivision and left, lol

In Marlboro (western Monmouth County) it has slowed down considerably for a moment looks like flurries. Hopefully it will start back up soon. Hubby just asked when this will be wrapping up so he could start digging us out. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

I plowed my driveway this morning (~12+") around 10 am and now it looks like i didn't even touch it. Its been dumping here ALL day. I'm noticing the winds are picking up and switch around as well.

If you go to the 3rd icon to the left of the You Tube icon and select it (Host an Image) you can then upload the photo file. You can then create acct/sign into the image serving site and get the direct link to that image you uploaded. you then paste that link into the url space on the "Insert Image" icon 2nd to the left of the You Tube icon. that will attach the image to your post.mmanisca wrote:bloc1357 wrote:mmanisca wrote:It's teaming here in Deer Park, wish I could upload a photo but I don't know how that happens!!!

Last plowed in the past hour, maybe less. Was just pouring snow a little while ago. That white car has almost disappeared!
Taken from my 2nd floor apartment.
And of course it's sideways. Ha.

26" so far in NW NJ (border of Warren / Hunterdon 1/2 mile from Deleware River). Been a whiteout blizzard all day. Craziest I have EVER seen having lived here for 36+ years.

I could be wrong, its nearly impossible to make a good measurement, your not that much more if you are. And it really picked up here now and we will likely get the wrap around later which might be our heaviest.

Re: January 23, 2016 Roidzilla Observations
My husband just went downstairs to look outside. He said the front porch - an area protected from the wind - has at least 2 feet right now and it's coming down so heavy it's almost a white-out.
When I last looked across the street, about a half hour ago, the drifts were obscuring the entire first landing of 10 steps on that apartment house. I can't really see all that clearly now to see how much worse it got.
The city plows came down 4 times this morning between 5am and noon, none at all since. The private snowplow that was doing the condos' driveway and parking lot a bit down the block once an hour this morning has also given up and hasn't been around since about 11:30.
For about 2 hours there was a group of about 4 little kids with those plastic saucer sleds outside going down the 10 foot high hill made by that plow by the condos. They went in for lunch and never came back.
Even our neighbor with the snowblower gave up after his second clearing in 2 hours. You can't even see where he plowed now, between the heavy snow coming down and the drifting snows.
