Consider yourself lucky. Here in Hyde Park I have zero and have been looking at virga all day. I'm happy that everybody else got blitzed but it's so damn frustrating condidering how this winter has gone. Evil or Very Mad

Vinny I am not sure but I do not think I have a lot more than that, its been only moderate here for quite some time, any reports out of this area? In some spots it was around the top of my boots which is about a foot. I think it may be a bit more, we have quite a few hrs to go and those bands are gonna rotate through here and all we need is a few hrs of nutty rates to get to where others are at.

The flakes have just gotten much bigger hence that dendrite growth, hopefully stays this way. Been kinda low key for a while now. And winds have not really been much of a factor surprisingly. Have we hit the height of the winds for this area?

Hyde I feel your pain. I've been in your situation more than once in the past few years. Hopefully the rest of this Winter will make it right for your location.

Sigh. If I needed to, I could walk on my roof. There is no snow on my tractor or truck to brush off. The dog can't leave footprints because there is no snow. Thanks to everyone here on the board, I get to see what I am missing. Down at my other house near Atlantic City, there are 65 mph gusts and 18 inches of snow. Atlantic City, like Sea Isle, is screwed with flooding. Expect to see a lot of cars suddenly come onto the used car market.

Just over an hour ago, I made a snowfall measurement of 13" here in Bellerose.  It's probably a lot higher now with more to come!!!

Here is a picture of me, courtesy of my mother!

I've lived in my house here since 1998 This right now at 3:00 is the hardest I've ever seen it snow. All the bands seem to be converging towards me. 17" on the ground and PUKING right now. If I get to 20" I will be ecstatic. I hope some of you in N Central NJ and lower Hudson Valley see 30" +. Grat storm. Frank!!! give me a conservative estimate for how much more and an end time. Me and my neighbor are going to go out and plow!!!

The snow just got lighter here (not light, light-ER) for a few minutes and I thought I was in a lull. But then it picked right back up.

Check out Wash/Balt NWS. Check out the summary of snow. When the map comes up scroll down for the list. Pretty amazing.

Just reported on TWC that NYC has set a total daily snowfall record. Not sure we'll catch the total storm snowfall record but with the rate it's currently coming down we shall see.

Blitzing right now under one of those yellow radar bands in northwest hunterdon county. 20" here and piling up by the minute. Can't see more than 100 feet!! Reminds me of the Blizzard of 1983 which is still my favorite, although this storm may be making a run at that title!!
