I'm not going to crown the nam, that's for sure. That POS model had me getting 18 inches just yesterday and I didn't get 18 flakes. And, yes, I'm bitter.
I felt that way that snowmageddon year when it was sunny and cold and South Jersey got 25 inches on a couple of storms.
I guess I wouldn't be so bitter if we actually a winter before this storm. Hell, half of the deep south has more snow than me this winter. GRRRRR

I know your pain. Juno was maybe 2 inches for me and we were still under a blizzard warning. It sucks. Hope next time you get bombed.

The only asterisk on this chart CP is that ridiculously low total for the Blizzard of 1888.Impossible there was only 21.0 inches when nearby areas were over three feet. Not saying this to disparage your fine work but out of respect for the classic old storm.
Doc I would add another to the blizzard of 96, At least 27 inches in CP and the dope measured 20.2 somehow. Newark was 28.8 Laguadia over two feet and right in between the two the idiot zookeeper. Anyway it seems from reports that the Conservancy is doing a decent job with the storm. Even though I'm stuck with a lousy foot which honestly I'm grateful for consdering the sharp northern cutoff I'm hoping NYC breaks 30 inches. It may be close, the record now seems to be a lock.

I measured in a few spots in Flatbush Brooklyn and I'm sure 27 28 is about right 4 to 5 foot drifts on corners

Everyone, thank you for bearing with my humor about being the little piggy who went wee wee wee all the way home with no roast beef during this historic storm. OK, so now...who is bullish on winter for the next couple of months?

I think I actually have 16" from this. Measured 15" around 5pm but it snowed pretty good for about 2 hours after.
