From looks of model runs CP i don't think there will be. And v-day looks like rain uggCPcantmeasuresnow wrote:billg315 wrote:25* and Cloudy here. No snow as yet. Not expecting much. Based on radar it looks like there could be a brief period of snow around her midday. But onto Thursdays storm for me.
Will there even be a Thursday Storm?

There's a decent SE ridge in the Atlantic. My thought now is moderate amount of snow (3"-6") NJ I-78 South is possible by Friday afternoon with all of these waves and significant amounts staying at or below South Jersey to Mason Dixon Line. The spacing is not ideal and that is my biggest concern.

Last of the bands to move through NNJ could bring another .5" to maybe 1" in elevated sections of NW NJ and LHV.

Re: Back to Back Snow Events FEB 9th-11th
Thursday’s event is interesting. It won’t be a big storm. Similar to today but it should affect places south. I’m thinking a widespread C-2” with pockets of 3 inches possible. These are for those away from the coast. The Shore, NYC and LI are too Far East.

Re: Back to Back Snow Events FEB 9th-11th
Managed to tack on another 1.5 inches between when I left for work at 7 and returned about 1 pm. Thats a solid 4 inches from this system. I'll take it.
Roads in my neighborhood and town are bad, this last batch of snow caught people by surprise. Definitely dropped a quick inch over the past hour.
That puts me over 60 inches for the year. Very impressive. Of course almost 3 ft of snow in one shot will do that lol.

Ciao paisano
Yea SCIs had to come down because of the negative trends for NYC/LI, but still think some places in our region will do well this week.
Sunday is interesting. I have my eye on that one...
