This is what it's all about folks. We don't get these very often, and they aren't as easy to get as people sometimes think. So soak this one in because I'm pretty sure we won't see another like this for some time.

Back to 75% snow, 25% ice. Sometimes you have to smell the taint to get the most snow.

That is an almost perfect I 95 alignment VA to CT border.
Would it be accurate that those warm dec days we hated help fuel well above normal water temps which in turns fuel this storm?

Re: January 23, 2016 Roidzilla Observations
According to IR, the storm may have finished its northern progression and will begin shifting east-northeast. The CCB over PA should track back east and just sit over NJ / NYC through the afternoon hours

Not really because the Atlantic was much above normal even before December. What is fueling this storm are THESE jet streams.

You are 100% right. So many variables have to come together just right.
Blizzard up here, heavy, wind blown snow.
20.3 degrees, 29.52 and falling like a rock, 86% humidity.Must be 4 to 5 inches now but it's blowing sideways,LOL
