...WHITEOUT CONDITIONS WITH VERY HEAVY SNOW THIS AFTERNOON...

AT 1250 PM...A BAND OF VERY HEAVY SNOW HAS SET UP OVER WESTERN
BERKS COUNTY, THE LEHIGH VALLEY AND SOUTHERN POCONOS IN
NORTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA AS WELL AS FAR NORTHWEST NEW JERSEY.
SNOWFALL RATES OF 2 TO LOCALLY 4 INCHES PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE
UNDERNEATH THIS BAND. THE BAND WILL MOVE SLOWLY...RESULTING IN
ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES JUST THROUGH
330 PM.

DO we think NYC schools Cancelled on monday?

Notice how bands are beginning to move southwest. An indication the pivot is happening

Around a foot here now and still absolutely dumping.

The bow tie man in Philly (Glen Hurricane Schwartz) said the storm is moving slowly and my area may now receive 23"- 30" because the heavy band of snow over us isn't moving. I think he may be right. It's been snowing heavily here for hours.

Hey, I have 12 to 14 inches here.I would have signed in a second yesterday when NWS had me 2 to 4.I'm a happy man.The rest is gravy now.

22.2 87% 29.41.Intensity backed off to moderate snow now.

Here I was thinking that this was the blizzard of december 09 2.0 with 8 hours of virga. But low and behold I've been sitting under this wonderful band of snow in the mid HV for quite some time now and have significant accumulations of around 6" and its still a white out! What a storm!

ZOO and I are getting smoked here still since 11:30ish easily

I know exactly where your at. I use to live in Dartmouth village on Baldwin road. I still work in Whippany NJ. Unfortunately I have to commute everyday.

I'm on the northeast part of it just north of New City on that map. It's insane, 2"-3" inches an hour no doubt. Can't even imagine how crazy it is west of me.

I think SNOW is right there.He said it's been snowing heavily for hours there.

Absolutely ripping outside, have to be nearing or over 20".

I think I am under part of it. I'm just north of Morristown. Maybe also under an outer edge, like mugs. Cannot even tell my lot was plowed an hour ago.

Does that band come down and across long island?
